Judges comment: Yet another sideways look at the world, clearly a landscape, but this time we have evidence of the built environment paying an equally important part in the composition. We have three bands running across the picture plane delineated by what appears to be fencing, a perfectly placed tree and most importantly of all a pylon to complete the story. What's not to like. It looks like an image seen through wet glass, but in truth it's not important.
