Judges comment: These subjects will always work for photographers because the composition is pretty much readymade. The vertical grid pattern of the boards makes decisions about framing quite straight forward; the seductive layers of flaking paint and rusting metal with their soft complementary colours complete the story. It's a good piece of work and one that could be developed as a panel/series.
